Along the side of highway 50 there are some fantastic rocks that I've wanted to take milky way photos with. When I found a place to park, I noticed a huge old tree had recently fallen. Giant boulders were still stuck in its roots. When I got back to my car, I realized that the Milky Way lined up perfectly with the roots! I had to grab a few shots there before I called it a night!
