This Jeffry Pine can be seen from the road. Its been one of my favorite subjects to photograph. Last fall, I decided I wanted to take some Milky Way pictures in that area. After some calculations, I realized that it would line up perfectly with the back side. We hiked up right before dusk and set up camp. During one of the exposures, a car drove by and illuminated the tree, creating this image.
