One morning I decided to go find and photograph moose by Silver Lake in Big Cottonwood Canyon. I got up early and arrived before sunrise. After a short hike around the lake, I managed to find a small bull and cow browsing near the edge of the lake.
I sat there at a safe distance, waiting for another hour and a half as the two moose browsed, waiting for the sun to give them good lighting. Right as the sun began approaching the correct area, the bull began to move. I was nervous that he was going to leave, until for just a brief moment he turned towards me before turning away. I was able to capture this photo at that moment.
