Colorado National Monument, outside of Grand Junction Colorado, is one of the best kept secrets in the national park system. Established in 1911, this outstanding park has a 23 mile scenic road that takes one to views of red rock canyons and rock formations such as buttes and spires. It is almost like a mini-Zion.
