Driving down Buckhorn Draw road is an experience of a lifetime. First, how in the world is this place free and so accessible?! It felt like I was driving through the Grand Canyon, well technically I did...the San Rafael canyon is otherwise known as the "Little Grand Canyon". Second, the road itself was so smooth and very well maintained and led us to some amazing sights, including the Buckhorn Wash Pictograph panel.
Looking ahead to canyon walls and seeing canyon walls behind me in the rearview mirror, I snapped a photo from the passenger side. Don't worry, I drove the second half to let my partner gawk out the window at this amazing place.
