I just had to enter this photo in October, I mean how amazing in this jack-o-lantern rock?!?!
I was exploring around the Rattlesnake canyon wash, there are no real trails just a bunch of paths going up and down the canyon. After some rock scrambling, I looked up and saw this rock! I almost couldn't believe it. How is this a natural rock? Sandstone erodes into some really incredible shapes.
Rattlesnake canyon is known for being a hard to access area and even if I wanted to I probably couldn't find this specific rock again. I am glad I saw it and snapped a photo. Happy Halloween and Spooky October!
