Mt. Blue Sky reaches 14,130 feet in altitude. It is the highest paved road in North America. The drive offers spectacular views of distant mountain peaks, alpine lakes and glacier valleys! This mountain was formerly known as Mt. Evans. The new name honors Indigenous peoples and is a symbol of healing, hope and unity. The Arapaho were known as the Blue Sky People.
