Mt. Blue Sky reaches 14,130 feet in altitude. It is the highest paved road in North America. The drive offers scenic views of the Continental Divide, mountain goats and marmots. Its former name use to be Mt Evans but it was renamed. The new name honors Indigenous peoples and is a symbol of healing, hope and unity. The Arapaho were known as the Blue Sky People.
