It's rare to not only find a hummingbird's nest, but to have a safely distanced, but close enough vantage point from which to see into it, especially when it contains newborn chicks! Hummingbird chicks are fed by their moms every 20 or so minutes, typically by having food regurgitated directly into their stomachs. These twins were around 10 days old and had just started to grow pin-like feathers that resembled porcupine spines.
