While I was visiting my Aunt in Denver, Colorado, a big horned sheep was not something that I expected to see let alone photograph during the Spring months. However, while we were hiking through the park, we came across over 40 male big horned sheep grazing near the red rock cliffs. Immediately, I knew I wanted to capture a photo of a big horn scaling the red rock. After over 5 hours of waiting and observing the massive males, one finally stood on a boulder and began looking out over the terrain below him. It was an absolutely incredible moment and a photo that I will cherish forever, due to the rarity of the occurrence and the regality of the sheep and the deep and rich shading of the red rock surrounding him.
