I arose early for the sunrise and was able to place myself in this notch with a wide angle lens to capture this amazing sunrise in the Badlands National Park. I positioned the sun in a perfect spot to get an awesome sunstar. When got home and looked at this photo, I thought "That is definitely why they call it the Badlands."
