Devils Tower National Monument

I have dreamed about visiting Devils Tower National Monument and being able to photograph the tower at night was the ultimate bonus. My idea was to photograph the tower under moonlight to make sure the tower could be seen well. That in turn made the milky way much lighter in the sky due to the light of the moon, which is fine with me because that’s the way I witnessed it that evening. Standing out there under the stars and in front of such a majestic American icon was amazing and a memory I soon won't forget.
