This photo was taken at Kenai Fjords National Park. In Resurrection Bay, this adult bald eagle was sitting on a manmade harbor structure. On a cold and rainy day, the animal was utilizing a high vantage point to scout for fish. I took this photo while on a boat headed out towards the Gulf of Alaska.
