The first time I saw this Memorial, I was incredibly moved. Because of the way the statues were positioned, I could sense a feeling of heightened awareness for all of the soldiers, along with the exhaustion that they must have experienced. The wall with the images of so many soldiers in the background added to the impact of how many people were effected. It is very hard to capture the feeling of this memorial.
