I found this stunning, green landscape hiking the Victoria Mine trail in Organ Pipe Cactus. Two days before I went on this hike, there was a huge rainstorm in Ajo. Our boondocking site had an inch of water on the ground and for a week after the desert smelt and looked so good. I love the little hills in the background of the photo, pressed up against receding clouds and an emerging blue sky.
