A newly paved road in the Organ Pipe Cactus NM snakes through the desert landscape towards Ajo Mountain. We visited this amazing park two winters in a row; the first winter 2022 the road was closed, probably repaving this road. Last winter, in 2023, the road was open and looked irresistible! The views were epic driving on the new road, and we had it all to ourselves on a Saturday afternoon!
