Finally the Organ Mountains revealed themselves late in the afternoon after being shrouded in a low hanging cloud all day. The cloud stayed on the east side of the mountains and made for an amazing scene as I watched the landscape change every few minutes. Camping in front of the mountains in early November for the full 14 day limit, we experienced a mix of summer and winter weather.
