This photo was taken on July 4th, 2024 at Fort Stanwix National Monument in Rome, NY. It recreates two female civilians during the Revolutionary War who might have lived at the Fort during the war. They could be family members of one of the officers stationed at the fort during the war. Fort Stanwix was the "fort that never surrendered" during the American Revolution.
