My husband and I drove to Sleeping Bear Dunes early one morning and had a peaceful walk along the beach near the historic cannery. The driftwood on the beach was eerily beautiful and added to the atmosphere of the historic village—like a place that time forgot. My husband liked how I caught the only modern day structure—the spider’s “beach house” in the wood!
