We were being chased out of the park by a severe thunder and lightning storm. Luckily we were able to get ahead of it and stop at the next available overlook. With only a few minutes to spare before being drenched with rain again I was able to capture the beauty and power of the approaching storm. The small window of blue skies in the background was the promise of better weather to come.
