As I stood at Pinckney Island, a majestic blue heron glided gracefully over the saltwater marshes, its wings casting a shadow on the rippling water below. The serene landscape, framed by the vibrant greens of the marsh grasses, was momentarily brought to life by the heron's elegant flight.
