Far View Great House was constructed in 1100AD by master masons. It was most likely utilized as an apartment for traveling tradesmen or an administration center before the alcove sites were built. There were almost 80 rooms here. This picture illustrates a doorway perspective into the structure. The Great House was constructed by chiseling away sandstone to create a block.
