Rangers of the past used White Pocket as a source of water for their cattle. Settled in the middle of the Paria Plateau on the Arizona Utah border, White Pocket is the result of an ancient landslide. It is a mix of "cauliflower shaped" crossbedding and amorphous and colorful twisted rock. This image shows its beauty after a late summer rainstorm.
