Patience is one of the biggest photographer's assets. This day at Kolob Terrace was rainy with overcast sky. The forecast called for partial clearing from the west. Considering the geometry of the light and the rock formations, I knew there was a shot there. Not even 10 minutes before sunset, I think I wished the break at the western horizon to happen. The sun flooded the valley with warm golden light. All there was to do was to press the shutter.
