During the Thanksgiving break, one night about an hour before dawn the starry sky was reflected in the still salty water of the seasonal Lake Manly at Badwater Basin of Death Valley National Park. Some whispery clouds obscured part of the sky making the clear part look like a winding river of stars both in the sky and in the lake.
