This is a photo of Newspaper Rock which is located near the Needles district of Canyonlands National Park in Bears Ears National Monument. Native Americans have been engraving and drawing on Newspaper Rock in Utah for more than 2000 years. There are hundreds of petroglyphs here that feature a mixture of forms, including pictures resembling humans, animals, tools, and other more esoteric objects.
