Ozark - St. Francis National Forest

Arkansas is a treasure trove of outdoor activities and sights. We set out one day to hike to the Whitaker Point (Hawksbill Crag) after seeing photos of people on the crazy rock online. I was surprised that there was only 2 other groups hiking that day and that the trail was so easy. We took our time enjoying the little waterfalls on the way and the wildlife, some geckos and lizards. Whitaker point itself was the coolest viewpoint for the valley below and surrounding forest. It was early spring and the trees had yet to wake up from winter but the views were still amazing.
