In March of 2022 I took my boys (then 18 and 14) on their first off grid road trip. We boondocked at this location in an SUV with a rooftop tent. As we were coming down from the Vermillion Cliffs to this area we passed through a snow storm. Upon arriving at this site we caught the tail end which produced a rainbow set against a backdrop of the base of the cliffs. Mother Nature never disappoints.
