Photographed the October annular solar eclipse ,also referred to as Ring of Fire eclipse, at Muley Point a location near Mexican Hat, Utah. That area was centered in the path of maximum eclipse so at maximum called angularity the moon was centered in the sun.
My photo was taken after maximum eclipse while the moon’s leading edge was close to leaving the suns disc. In this photo you can see the beginning of what is called Bailey’s Beads which is caused by sunlight being blocked by lunar mountains and shining through lunar valleys.
