Rare desert kit fox (Vulpes macropod) play in Utah's high desert. Normally 'kit' describes a baby, but the Western United States has a rare subspecies so small the species is called 'Kit Fox.' This smallest fox in the US can run 25 mph! Like the arctic fox, their paws have fur on the bottom.
