Located in the shadow of the Never Summer Mountains in Rocky Mountain National Park, the Little Buckaroo Barn is on the National Register of Historic Places. This area was first homesteaded in 1914 by farmers and ranchers. The last inhabitants were Fred and Betty Dick, who occupied the property for 25 years. Fred passed away in 1992, and his wife Betty followed in November of 2006. Now this beautiful barn is part of Trail River Ranch, a group dedicated to promoting the history and education of Rocky Mountain National Park.
