How many otters do you see? I actually heard these otters before I saw them. Otters make interesting little chirping and barking-like noises when communicating with other otters. This romp stopped to cross from one canal to the other just long enough for me to take a few photos. Otterly cute and fun animals.
Fun fact: when you see an otter near the outer banks, you have to call the location the otter banks for the rest of the day.
