Yosemite is known for monoliths, meadows and the Merced River. Its dramatic landscapes are breathtaking in any season. In fall, the trees may be barren, but the skies are bright blue. As evening approaches, the air becomes still and the river quiets. Stepping toward the river, Half Dome came into view along with its reflection in the Merced. This moment took my breath away. I remain in awe of Yosemite's beauty.
