I hopped out of my car with my binoculars to see if I could spot a river otter in this canal. I did not find an otter, but this intimate scene caught my eye. Sometimes sweeping landscapes are beautiful, but other times it is an intimate scene that captures the imagination. I took out my 400mm lens and captured this in the early morning mist.
