On our second hike down to this lake, we finally saw the moose that we had heard was hanging out there with her baby. While mama was foraging in the water, her baby was resting in the brush on the side of the lake. What fun it was to watch them both ... and I was happy to see that all the other visitors were being very respectful (keeping their distance and keeping their voices low)
