It was a clear evening, and the moon was at first quarter full and at our back. We took a hike before dark and ended up at this beautiful bridge. We decided to stay until dark and take a few different nighttime photos. The Orionids were supposed to peak that night but we were not really thinking about them being out that early, so the meteor was just a bonus in the shot.
