This photo was taken July 9 at Washburn Point in Yosemite National Park. The Pika fire, which was caused by a lightning strike, gave the sky a beautiful glow. Vernal and Nevada Falls had incredible water flow due to the winter snow pack. This is one of the best places in Yosemite to see Half Dome.
