The day we visited Bond Swamp NWR, there had been intense rain and stream flooding. This refuge is adjacent to Ocmulgee Mounds NHP and may be included in our next national park, Ocmulgee Mounds National Park and Preserve. My partner had a red umbrella which was highlighted amidst the day's gloomy weather.
