For a few weeks, my partner and I spent our hiking days looking for the PERFECT saguaro cactus, the look of Arizona, the cactus in all photos or drawings of Arizona. One day while hiking the Alamo Canyon trail in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, we saw the perfect saguaro, with the perfect background, everything came together! This is one of my favorite photos of all time, a stunning example of a saguaro and the Southern Arizona landscape.
