Visiting the "Island in thee Sky" section of Canyonlands National Park, there are many places to look down to the lower mesa to observe the magnificent scenery contained in the park. The Gooseberry Canyon Overlook is one of them. With a beautiful blue sky and clouds the distant mesas overlooking the White Rim canyons of the Colorado present a magnificent picture of western scenery.
