While walking on the west rim trail in the vicinity of Grandeur and Yavapai Points, I spied this group overlooking the canyon's Indian Garden on the Bright Angel Trail. I followed them from various spots taking at least five photos, (some with a telephoto lens). These types of park patrons are the bane of the park service because of the danger they court. (In talking with a park ranger, he told me that one of the worst things he encountered was going over the side of the canyon to recover the bodies of visitors who got too close to the edge and tumbled into the canyon). This group was at least 1000 to 2000 feet above the Indian Garden.
