I was accustomed to hearing grizzly bears with tourist given names, but then I learned of a handful of bull moose that received the same. Hoback the mighty bull moose of Grand Teton NP is quite impressive in photos but even more so in person. I remember thinking as he came up over a wall of brush that I chose correctly in purchasing my 600mm zoom lens to afford me the safe distance I needed to have as I captured this mighty moose.
