Booker T. Washington's childhood home. This is where he was born into slavery along with his mother, sister, and brother. He would live here until the end of the Civil War and would be freed on site. If you look closely at the ground, you will see what appears to be an outline made with stone. This may or may not be the site of the "big house" owned by the Burroughs family.
