The cliffside on the Ledges Trail was a hotspot for the growth of colorful lichens and mosses. Beautiful in and of themselves, some suggested images such as in this photo. I call this " The Madonna of The Ledges". A maiden in a free flowing robe standing on a shelf looking as if made specifically for her. Her face features visible and capped by her mossy green hair.
