In the St. Mary's area, the stark color of this cinnamon black bear immediately caught my attention against the background of an area that had previously been burned in the Reynolds Creek Fire. This bear, the regrowth, and the fireweed in the background, are a prime examples of how resilient nature is and the beauty that can come from fire.
