The first signs of fall at the Grand Prismatic Spring, cooler ambient temperatures create a dramatic ‘fog’ over the spring that blends with the white puffy clouds that are subsequently reflected at the spring’s border as the sun begins an earlier descent.
The result is a dramatic photo, not because of the size and vibrant colors the spring is know for, but rather the mysticism created by the spring and it’s reflection, in reaction to the temperature change.
