My son & daughter-in-law doing what's so great about our great National Park system. We spent a thoroughly satisfying and fascinating day and a half between the three units of the John Day Fossil Beds in central Oregon! Beautiful rugged scenery, mind-boggling narrative trails & museum...an underappreciated gem.
