Early. in the morning we decided to travel to the upper part of Yosemite to see the view from Sentinal Dome, traveling through Wawona Tunnel. I noticed, while in the tunnel, a beam of light on one wall. When we returned, I parked the car in the parking lot outside of the tunnel and walked into the tunnel. Sure enough, there was a passage way through the tunnel wall, leading to a ledge overlooking the Merced Valley, and affording a distant view of El Capitan and Bridal Veil Falls. This is the view.
