More than a dozen of joined Gerry Marino as she hiked the eastern end of the Crag's Crest trail up on the Grand Mesa to celebrate her 90th birthday. She has been a regular hiker on the Grand Mesa for years and this was her 5th or 6th hike on the trail this year alone. It starts at over 10,000 feet in elevation and tops out at over 11,000 feet. Gerry a Navy Vet, continues to stay active, lives at her home of 30+ years, still drives and helps deliver Meals on Wheels every week. She was sporting 90 year old balloons attached to her backpack the entire 5+ miles.
