I spotted this red tailed hawk setting on an uncharacteristically low branch by one of the lakes on the arsenal. The late afternoon light was filtered through the leaves giving me a perfect scenario for this shot. I took a series of photos from this vantage point but this one most perfectly reflected the beauty and serenity of the scene to me.
